Although the world looks different.Many children will not be affirmed, celebrated or appreciated. On the shelves in their homes, schools and libraries Traditional books will not represent them. As parents and readers of diverse books, we know how hard it is to find them. Having access to these books helps children.
Their societal invisibility vanishes. Let us embrace these books that feature diverse characters, That reflects and honours the lives of all children. Because diverse books offers us mirrors, windows and sliding doors into a world worth exploring and celebrating.
